The Atacama Giant sprawls across a hillside in Chile’s Atacama Desert. Measuring a staggering 390 feet long, it is the largest anthropomorphic geoglyph in the world (an arrow in Peru’s Nazca Lines is 1,600 feet in length). It is believed that several indigenous cultures contributed to creating the figure between 1000 and 1400 CE, but its meaning and origins remain unknown. Illuga, Región de Tarapacá, Chile.
