Mustering 2,400 Brahmin heifers at Bunda Cattle Station in the Australian Outback, located in a remote part of the Northern Territory, hundreds of km from the nearest paved road. The heifers have been left with bulls (3:100) in one of the large paddocks for many months, and are being brought in for each to get an ultrasound pregnancy test to see which are pregnant and how far along they are. The non-pregnant heifers will be evaluated to determine if they are fertile and need to be mated, or are infertile, and need to be sold for export and slaughter. This station is being used for breeding the finest stock to be transferred to the Consolidated Pastoral Company's other stations to improve the genetics of their cattle.
