Large herd of tiang (virtually identical specie to the better-known topi of East Africa) between Kongor and the main channel of the Nile. At least one of the animals in this herd was recently darted and fitted with a radio and satellite collar by WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society) to get a better understanding of their seasonal migration patterns so that conservation strategies can be developed.
