The vehicle collection of Sheik Hamad (aka the "rainbow sheik") has turned into a free tourist attraction called the Emirates National Auto Museum. Consisting of unusual vehicles, such as a 20-meter tall sphere turned into apartments, a super-sized Dodge Power wagon with a master bedroom in the cab, and a large variety of American 4x4 vehicles, Mercedes Benzs, and Mini Coopers. The museum is located about a half-hour south of Abu Dhabi on the road to Liwa Oasis on the edge of the Empty Quarter.
