Here, curly lettuce is being inspected by Stefan van den Boogaart, a project trainee and third-year graduate student from Hertogenbosch Applied Science University in The Netherlands. BrightBox uses predominantly red, w 3,6,9,12% blue light mixed in. Red light is more efficient for photosynthesis.
