Fang Camp on the north side of Mt. Erebus. Because of the high altitude and thin air on Erebus all scientists going up Erebus must spend two nights here. Here a helicopter operated by the National Science Foundation is bringing in a skidoo to help scientists get around on the summit of the volcano.
