Rape seed flowers cover the fields and boats ply the canals that were excavated from this former wetland. The explosion in color lasts only a few weeks, but brings busloads of tourists to stroll on the kilometer of walkways and bridges that connect the islets and observation towers. After the rapeseed harvest the fields will produce taro.
