Fishing boats unloading on the beach of Cox's Bazar, on the south coast of Bangladesh. Local fishermen bring in their catch of mostly small "knife fish" on the rising tide. They are sold on the beach and laid out to dry on open-air racks on the silty peninsula. The dried fish are a popular cheap protein sold throughout Bangladesh and exported as well.
