Sunrise just before moving some 800 young Brahmin cattle to greener pasture on the coastal floodplains of Twin Hills station, SW of Darwin. These yearlings were born on an inland cattle station that has limited grazing during the dry season and were trucked here to fatten on the green coastal floodplains before being exported for further fattening and slaughter.
The cattle are owned by CPC (Consolidated Pastoral Co.) which has 3.6 million hectares of grazing land scattered across Northern Australia, and two feedlots in Indonesia.
