Lake Trona, one of the northern-most of the Ubari Lakes in the Ubari Sand Sea (Idehan Ubari). This lake is stained purple by high mineral content, and shows signs of having been commercially exploited for its minerals. Between Lake Trona and the dunes in the background is a small village that was abandoned in 1975.
