Interior views of frescos in the church of Curahuara de Carangas, near Sajama. The church was built in 1608 and the frescoes were painted by local parishioners in 1777. Its windows are made out of thin sheets of translucent quartz, and the church is sometimes referred to as the Sistine Chapel of the Andes/Altiplano.
