Drying facilities of potash plant at Arab Potash Company. Here a slurry of KCl rich sediment called carnalite is processed into potash in a process that consumes 4 tons of fresh water for each ton of potash produced. Dust from the drying of potassium chloride (KCl) coats the processing plant.
