Simplot cattle feedlot in Grand View Idaho, one of the largest in the U.S.. Most cows are Holsteins discarded from dairy operations. The feedlot was started by potato billionaire Jack Simplot, who realized he could fatten cattle with waste from his potato operations. Simplot once supplied most of the French fries for McDonalds.
