White-eared kob some 120km SE of Bor, with the shadow of the Wildlife Conservation Society's Cessna 206 from which the photos were taken in the afternoon. This is part of a herd of nearly a million white-eared kob that survived 25 years of civil war in Southern Sudan. They make an annual circular migration through an area that is the largest intact (and uninhabited) savannah in Africa.
