Rotating mirrors focus heat on the world’s largest concentrated solar power plant some 30 miles south of Dubai in the U.A.E. The facility’s centerpiece is an 863 ft. tall tower that heats molten salt for saturated steam generation, which is piped to turbines that can generate power 24/7. The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is the largest single-site solar park in the world. It includes solar technologies such as PV and CSP and produces enough energy to supply over 800,000 homes.
