Cruising power boats are the center of activity on Lake Havasu on a summer holiday weekend. Power boat enthusiasts and party animals from Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California descend on this Colorado River town to drink and display themselves at a floating party in 40°C temperatures. The narrow channel they’re cruising is crossed by the London Bridge, which was purchased and shipped here to provide a tourist attraction.
