Their nearest town is a two hour drive away on an unpaved road, and they do their schooling with a governess hired by their parents, and who augments “School of the Air”, a program with online courses designed for children living the remote parts of the Australian Outback. Waterloo Cattle Station covers some 189K hectares and was established here in the mid-1880s.
