In what seems like a set from a futuristic movie, seaweed is put up to dry on novel rotary drying racks that spin in the wind. I was told that they get a higher price for seaweed that is air-dried like this, but noticed the workers still dragged wet seaweed across barren ground to get it to and from the high-rise drying racks.
