Small-scale aquaculture fills much of the harbor of Bandar Lampung, on the southern tip of Sumatra, on the Sunda Strait, which separates Sumatra from Java.
These are green mussel cultures. They use plastic containers as buoys that are attached along the rope. Under the transverse rope, vertical ropes are attached to a depth of 3 meters with a distance of 1 m for the spat collector.
