A pair of aquajets at play in the mouth of the Miami River where it enters Biscayne Bay. They are suspended some 40 ft. in the air on columns of water attached to the outlet of a jetski. With much of the town living just a few inches above the high tide line, Miamians have created an infrastructure dependent on pumping water to stay dry and support their flamboyant lifestyle. This is getting to be much harder to sustain as global sea levels continue to rise.
