TASA 420, a 42M purse seiner, pulling in a 736m long net with 40tons of Peruvian anchoveta about twenty miles off the coast SW from Lima. The boat can hold 375cuM of fish.
The Peruvian anchoveta is the world's largest fishery by weight, and is primarily harvested for fish meal and oil, which are critical components of feed for aquaculture, pig, and chicken farms throughout the world.
