Below deck fish processing factory of C/P Alaska Ocean. The fish are headed, gutted, and flash-frozen within a few hours of coming on board. One of their biggest U.S. fillet customers is McDonald’s, and the minced fish paste are sold in France as breaded fish fingers. On an average day, the ship brings in 200 tons of frozen/filleted product + 30 tons of fish meal.
