Picking out flawed beans at a coffee processing factory in the Rift Valley of Ethiopia, where coffee originated. All the beans are organically grown, then hand-picked and processed by local villagers who make about $1.20 per day. Over half of the coffee production is for domestic consumption, and the best quality beans are exported, as coffee is the country's biggest export.
